We would like to remind you about the following information regarding certificates on the absence of COVID-19.

1. In order to be accepted for boarding all foreign citizens must provide a printed medical document (in English or Russian) confirming the negative PCR test for COVID-19, passed not earlier than 3 calendar days (72 hours) before arrival to Russia. They will be also asked to show it upon arrival at the border control.

Please note the document must be printed out. SMS or any other form of confirmation on the mobile phone will not be accepted. Moreover, if this document is in another language, it should be translated into Russian and certified by the respective Russian Consulate.

Foreign citizens who are coming to Russia with a visa for permanent work also have to self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival.

2. All kind of test results other than by PCR method cannot be accepted as confirming the absence of COVID-19.
3. According to the last decision of Rospotrebnadzor which is responsible for public health, dated 16 April 2021 N 13 (entered into force on 21 April), foreign citizens and stateless persons can be subject to random COVID-test upon arrival to Russia at the airport. This test is additional to the above mentioned.
4. All foreign citizens before arrival to Russia should fill in a special questionnaire.
