The procedure of visas issue suspended

Please note from August 1, 2023 the  Consular section of the Russian Embassy in Reykjavik stoped the procedure of issuing visas. Visas can be applied at сonsular representatives of the Russian Federation in Norway.

VISA PROCESSING TIME and FEES (accepted only in Icelandic Krona in cash) Effective May 25, 2020 for citizens of Iceland, Norway and the EU member states (citizens of other countries pay the fees according to the tariffs of the Russian Consulates in their native countries (in ISK) or bilateral agreements if such exist; visa processing time may vary)

Tourist visas: 4-5 working days

Single-entry and double-entry transit visas:

4-10 working days – 5460 ISK

3 working days – 10920 ISK

Multiple-entry (business, humanitarian) visas:

10 working days – 5460 ISK – Based on direct invitations from a host Russian organization/company

Single-entry, double-entry and multiple-entry (business, humanitarian) with invitations issued by the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation or MFA of Russia:

4-10 working days – 5460 ISK

1-3 working days – 10920 ISK

Single-entry and double-entry (business, humanitarian, private*) visas:

5-10 working days – 5460 ISK – Based on direct invitations from a host Russian organization/company

1-3 working days – 10920 ISK – Only with original or electronic invitations issued by the Ministry of the Interior or MFA of Russia

*Private - only with original or electronic invitations issued by the Ministry of the Interior or MFA of Russia

Single/double/multiple-entry (working) and single/double-entry (study) based on invitations issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation:

4-10 working days – 10400 / 16640 / 31200 ISK

1-3 working days – 20800 / 33280 / 62400 ISK
